2025 ADULT SPRING LEAGUE AND INFORMATION

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2025 SPRING LEAGUE IS NOW AVAILABLE!
Registration Ends at 11:00pm on Thursday, March 20, 2025
- All late registrations and payments will have a $35 late fee (per player) applied


Leagues: Men’s, Women’s and/or Coed.

Divisions: All of our adult leagues have divisions for all different skill sets and experience levels.

Registration Types: 
Team, Individual, Small and Large Groups (see bottom of page for description and registration for each)


- FREE AGENTS: Players registering as individual or small groups without a team are "Free Agents", will either place you on a team that needs players or on a team with other Free Agents.

SEASON LENGTH: April 13, 2025 to June 26, 2025.

EQUIPMENT

Players      -Manadatory (CSA Approved ice hockey helmet with facecage, ice hockey gloves, ice hockey stick)
                  -Recommended (protective cup, soccer style shin pads)

Goaltenders   -Mandatory (protective cup, hockey pants, pads, glove, blocker, chest/arm protector, CSA approved helmet

 

ARENA’S

  • Henk Ruys (Lawson Heights) Soccer Center: 4 hockey rinks at this facility (All games in Fall and Winter are played at this facility) - Field names include WinMar, Mark Tennant, Red Field, Aurora Financial.
  • Cosmo Hockey Arena (Spring Only)
  • Dalmeny Hockey Arena - Team will play 1-2 games at Dalmeny. (Spring Only)

1. TEAM ROSTER (registering to my existing team)

ROSTER  PLAYERS
Ask Team rep if he/she is paying full team fee or everyone is paying individually.

A. If your team is paying individually choose “Full Season: Individual”  AS "TYPE" during online registration

B. If your team rep is making full team payment, choose “My captain paid in full”. AS TYPE during online registration.
Note: If your team rep is paying the full team fee you must select a payment option at the end of registration in order to be registered
please select “Pay Later E-transfer” or your registration will NOT go through.

Note: If a player selects “my captain paid in full” on a team that all  players are paying individually, they will be charged the $35 late fee in addition to their full season fee.

2. FREE AGENTS - INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP (2-12 Players) REGISTRATION

a. FREE AGENT PLAYER - INDIVIDUAL 
Registering as a single Free Agent Player and would like to be placed on team.
Note: Your team rep or league will contact you (via email) prior to league play.

b. FREE AGENT PLAYERS - GROUP (2-12 players)

Group of players wanting to register and play together, but don't have enough to make a full team.

In order to be on the same team: All players must register individually and follow instructions below.
1. Prior to registering choose one person as the group rep
2. During the online registration process, there is a "Group Representative" box.  Everyone in your group, including the group representative, must put that players full name in the "Group Representative" box.

* This is the only way we can identify players that are wanting to play together*

DEFINITION OF A TEAM

- review the following three options and go to the section that best describes your team for more info.
A team is determined in the following ways, which are all listed below
1. Team reps paying full team at time of registration (captain collect $ from players)
2. Teams paying individually and have 15 or more players (players pay online)
3. Teams paying individually and have less than 15 players (players pay online)


1. TEAM - PAID IN FULL (10-25 players)
- Your are registering a team and balance is paid in full at time or registered, you determine how players on your team will pay you  
- Advantage of this method
A. You can add players to your roster and they can play full season, half season, one game or whatever.
B. You have 25 roster spots you can use
C. League will not be giving you free agents

How to get your players registered!
- Register your team online (red "TEAM REP" link below).
- Once completed click on the BLUE "ROSTER PLAYER" link , copy the URL link and send via text or email to your players or have them come to this webpage and click 
During registration process they must know their team name and division, they must choose "my captain paid in full" as TYPE and the have to select "E-transfer" as payment option in order to be registered (There balance will be $0.00)


2. TEAM - PAYING INDIVIDUALLY (MINIMUM 15 PLAYERS)
Your team is registered and you have a MINIMUM of 15 players paying individually (full time) and you have enough jerseys for everyone on your team.
Advantage
- You do not have to worry about collecting payments, players are in charge of their own fee.
Disadvantage
- There is no half or spare player fees, all players pay in full
- There is a possibility of having free agents added to your team

3. WE HAVE LESS THAN 15 PLAYERS?
- You will need to have enough jerseys for all players on your team including free agents or you will have to purchase a a full set from the league ($500 + Tax)

Option 1: Free Agents added
- The league will add free agents to your team, to get your roster to at least 15 players (likely more).
Option 2: We do not want free agents added
- You will have to pay for the remaining roster spots to get to 15 full time roster spots paid in full.
Example: You have 11 players in your group, you will need to pay out the remaining 4 spots at the individual fee  
(e.g., 4 roster spots x $300 = $1200 team must pay to avoid free agent placement)

ADULT REFUND POLICY

Individual Payments

- Any registration cancelled before the registration deadline will be charged an automatic $50 admin fee
- Any registrations cancelled after registration deadline charged $75 admin fee + $30 Jersey Fee
- Any registration cancelled during season
$75 admin fee + $30 jersey fee + ($15 x # of games TEAM has played)

NO refunds after team has played 4 games

 
ADULT TEAM REFUND POLICY
- Cancelling before the registration deadline
A. EVERYONE Paid individually $50/player
B. Paid full team fee: $500 deducted from team fee, remainder refunded

​- Cancelling after the schedule has been created, NO REFUNDS 
A. Paid individually: no refund
B. Paid full team fee: no refund

Players who are injured (i.e., for the season) and can provide a doctors note, will be refunded at the $10/game rate (played by your team).
